Question which collector and primary size?

hey guys, i'm getting a headers for my 98 camaro, currently has stock engine with little mods like a little cam, (212/208 dur, LSA 112) ecu tuned, rc:10.5, nothing special, so which collector and primary tube dia. should i go for?
i'm swapping out a bigger engine later something like LS3 into it with a good street/strip cam, so i'm making header's choose thinking about future, what do you think? 3.000" collector, and 1 3/4 primary? or something bigger?
thanks in advance.

1-7/8" primaries, 3" collector should be fine. My headers have 3.5" collectors but I don't really know what the benefit is.

With a little cam it really wont matter, what you should be asking yourself is are you going to supercharge/turbo/in any way increase induction in your car dramatically? if so then go with 1 7/8" as that allows more airflow than 1 3/4" but if not, then its completely up to you!

A stock LS1 makes more power with the 1 7/8" headers than 1 3/4" headers. Get the bigger ones.

Yes it is stock except for bolt-ons. There are multiple threads showing that 1-7/8" primaries gain everywhere over 1-3/4" even on stock engines. There is also some argument as to whether stepped headers provide additional gains. My Edelbrock headers are 1-3/4" stepped to 1-7/8" with 3.5" collectors into a 3" Y-pipe.

i see... i asked for help to kooks, they told me 1-3/4 should be fine, this is not meant to be forced inducted, as you mention i'll consider to go for 1-7/8 ones, thanks.
