How do you do away with the egr ?

I have a 2002 z28 with a LS1 i just built im putting pace setter headers on it and they dont have the holes in the top. How do I do a delete of the lines without causing any issues?

Just remove them...then cut/tape off or hide the wires. You'll have to have the pcm codes tuned out. You have an ls6 intake correct?

You will also need either an EGR block off plate from one of the sponsors or a 1-3/8 rubber expansion plug for the hole that removing the EGR will leave in the intake.

you dont need to pass emissions right? If not, get rid of the AIR too

Pretty sure this guy is referring to the AIR and not the egr already. Seeing as though they didn't have egr in 2002

dammit beat me to it lol the last production year with EGR and AIR was 2000, 01-02 had the LS6 and they didn't run EGR (it's pointless anyway) only AIR lines. ls1speed sells the block off plates and i think TSP does too
