Primary tube diameter?

Basically i can get TSP 1 3/4" primaries for 409.99 or TSP 1 7/8" primaries for 529.99. The engine is a 408 that will be making about 550bhp. My original thought was to go with the smaller ones because they are cheaper. but im not sure if they are too small for my application. I dont want to restrict the airflow, but i dont want to have to little velocity and have their be a chance for reversion. just asking for an opinion.

I'd spend the money and go with 1 7/8". Better flow.

Oa 408 go with the 1 7/8". They make more power on a stock cubed 346, let alone a stroker motor.

well I didnt know since on the site they both claim +25whp, i did not know the 1 7/8" made more power. I guess ill just go big, instead of going home.
