Default balancer bolt

is the arp bolt reuseable and is there a reason more people don't use them????

I have one and yes it is reusable. I was told to install it like a stock bolt but there was no way in hell to get it to 140 degrees. I maybe got 100 out of it and then there was no give. I had a breaking bar with extension and I though I was going to break it. Not sure why more people don't have it. Maybe the cost to a stock bolt if they are only doing it once.

I have one and the instructions say to torque to 240ft/lbs and yes it's reuseable.

umm. arnt they like 30 bucks? u can get a gm non reusable for like 5 bucks. if that. even if u take the thing off a few times and replace it, your still saving $$$ less your doing a different cam evey weekend. lol.

Yea but if you had each bolt side by side you would for sure grab the ARP bolt and use it over the stock bolt, it's just that much better.

cool. yeah, i havent ever compared the 2. ill keep that in mind next time i need to replace the stocker.
