Default Ls3 top end question

Im trying to explore all top end possibilities before i make my choice, trying to achieve 500whp as cheaply as possible with my soon to be 408.

I was going to go buy 243 heads ported and put in bigger valves, since i already have a FAST 92/92 setup, with fuel rails and 60lb injectors.

Now im thinking a possible LS3 top end. I understand my TB will work, i will just need LS3 intake (which to my knowledge flows excellently), LS3 fuel rails, and LS3 injectors. My question is, can i make my Siemens / Mototron DEKA IV High Impedance Injectors will work? springs and rockers for my current 862 heads will not work on LS3 heads correct? and do you guys think this is a better move than using the ported 243 heads?

I've got a set of Patriot 243 heads I'll be dropping on my 416" L-92 a bit later. I'm doing it since I have them, not because they're "the best" or they'll be 0.005 seconds quicker. With the cam I'll be using (yup, already got that too), this motor will be done by 6k anyways. Subscribing to see how this turns out for you...

ha, i dont mean to sound cheap. Im willing to get porting done and all that, willing to spend 2500 on a forged rotating assembly, im just wondering what will make it happen easier or the best for it, 243 heads and cam to match, or L92 heads and cam to match. The more research i do i find the LS3 combo makes more power up high whereas cathedral gives you more low end torque. Since this car is a DD i think i want more low end torque, but i have more research to do so im not sure yet.

you could use 8 of your stock rockers for the exhaust but you will need new rockers. there off set. i get mine for around 115 for 8. second are your talkin about stock springs or aftermarket? it really doesnt matter but ya you coul run stock spings but will they hold up to you cam is the question???
