Anyone know a place that sells a good true dual exhaust system?

Also I was wondering, besides obviously sounding better than any y-pipe catback out there, are there decent performance gains of a true dual vs a y-pipe?

There are some ok Ebay TD setups...personally I wouldn't get an ok set up. I want something thats gonna last and perform...TSP or Kooks.

btw Kooks is gonna run you about $1500 for the TD setup and they require the use of Kooks Long tubes as well..

 

With the TSP setup can you still run headers with it? Any kind of headers? I saw the Kooks one, being $1,700 on most sites, that's about the price of two sets of headers with a catted y-pipe, way more than I'm looking to spend. I guess $450 from TSP isn't too bad.

ones a full system and the other is just dumps.

bassani makes a full exhaust system as well thats true dual. its about $800-900 new and stainless

 

The TSP one is just dumps? What does that mean exactly?

Stainless steel will last longer I suppose, and hold up better on salted winter roads.

 

it means they just dump before the rearend. any exhaust shop can make that setup. they dont go over the rearend and out the back.
