I was just wondering if there was a specific technique for cleaning out a MAF. I bought a stock MAF, because there was an aftermarket one on my car when i bought it. I've heard to use rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip to clean the wires, but I wasn't sure if that was completely safe.

I just use electrical contact cleaner. You can usually find the stuff in an aerosol can at your local auto parts store.
