Default MAF Delete pipe

I just got done upgrading my cam to the MS4 and just ordered my Fast 92/92 from ws6 store and was talking to my tuner and he said i could decide to go speed density if i wanted it was up to me so i thought id give it a try. Problem is that i dont know what the best thing to use to delete the maf is. i would like to have it all one piece not multiple ones. Others i found were all 4" silicone hose. Anyone use any thing different like a polished piece of alluminum? also how much am i going to need to go from lid to throttle body some say 6" of pipe some say 10". I would go measure the length on my car but its in storage at the moment and cant quite get to it. Help is needed and pictures would be much appreciated thanks.

I just got a foot long 4" silicone hose with a bump (bulge) in it that allows it to flex. Got it off eBay & trimmed it to fit.

Got mine from intake hoses.. 6" Long and 4" diameter.. You have to heat it the first time to get it on a 90-92 tb but it Will go on with some patience. After that it is still somewhat a pain but doable in 2-3 minutes of messing with it.

Mine is going to a 98mm ftp lid.. Lid is nowhere near as tight fit.

Look at the last couple pics in my build thread for pics..

People do it, I personally don't like the hard/stiff stuff.

6" is almost perfect.

I kept my smooth bellow and added a "MAF length" piece of 4 inch exhaust pipe. Fits into a 98mm lid perfect.

Steve, why not something like mine? Much cleaner imo..

Iirc it Was only like 15$ for the silicone tubing. Very clean install.
I made sure to stay away from the bubble ones or whatever they are because I thought it made them look.... bloated?

I dunno, it was what was already on the car so I wanted to see if I could make it work. Had to boil it on the stove and cuss but I got it to fit. Plus I've prolly put 200 miles on the car in the last year so I really don't care about the intake coupler
