starter problem
starter problem so im putting a ls1 in my 66 nova and got my starter hooked up and cranked it over for the first time. its super loud. its a high torque mini starter but i put power to the starter out of the car and its not that loud, actually surprisingly quiet. the starter didnt come with shims so I went and bought some and it didnt do anything at all. this is the starter I got http://www.store.procompelectronics....oduct_id=37747 so its not like a real cheap one or anything... is there anything I could do or suggestions? thanks
ok well I got a stock starter and it works fine. so its for sure in the starter and not my set up. the procomp starter is just all wrong. im contacting them today to complain and see what they have to say but at this point I do not recommend them at all.
