Default howz this catch can

I wuz about to spend the $85 bucks on the greddy but I just didnt think it was worth it for another plain ol' "drip" can, I'm thinkin if your under WOT that the oil would just get sucked from one tube to the next, and I've seen alot of other homemade cans so I kinda had some inspiration, well here's what I came up with........(check the pics), not many expensive parts needed, I just took the pvc cap and cut it down... drilled and threaded it... put some pvc cement just for a little insurance, and taa daaah, done, its accually one basic peice that you just need to screw an oil filter to, I plan on making one out of metal and welding all the connections but for now this is working out beautifully....

what do you guys think of my creation?

looks good to me . maby one of those screw on ATV oil filters off of a raptor or somthing would make a good one because of its more compact size...too bad they want your first born for ATV parts.

Why didn't I think of that!! Hopefully it will work. But when you think about it, oil is supposed to go through oil filters, but the catch can is trying to stop that oil. But I'd imagine that it would create enough of a slow-down to pull the oil and water out of suspension. Let us know how it works.

You won't need a catch can if you do the LS6 PCV mod. At least that was my experiance. The only thing in my catch can was a small amount of water.

I heard the LS6 PCV conversion is uselsss for stopping the oil consumption. I guess it works for some and not for others.

I was originally going to use a remote oil filter mount but the parts store didnt have any... so I improvised................. on a side note, I've been having some kr (98z28), 4.xx and I noticed when testing this my kr was at 0.2, so I guess it helps out!

I just went to Auto Zone and bought a small Campbell Hausfield inline filter for an air compressor for $9.99, some brass fittings and some rubber fuel line. So, for about $15 I have a small compact, and effective catch can. Plus, you can actually see what is being caught.

Here is the link I used http://benelliwang.badassride.com/Engine/index.html#PCV
