harmonic balancer won't come off ???
 

I get it almost to the end and the motor wants to turn over with it when I try to get it off ???

An impact and a 3 jaw puller

I'm using a 3 jaw puller... it keeps slipping off ! I'LL WORK ON IT SOME MORE TONITE..

Use your hands and wiggle it off.

Can u put ur puller on the inside and reverse the jaws? A friend also helps with holding them together if you cant or a ratchet strap

I had the same problem, and had to use a different 3 jaw puller than the first one I tried. I rented it from Pep Boys, and they had 3 sizes. I can't remember now whether it was the mid size or the big one that worked the best, but I'm thinking it was the biggest one.

I had to use a big 3 jaw puller around the outside of the pulley (I know, not the best as it may separate) as a smaller puller would slip off and bend, even secured on every arm.
