Default Cost of replacing ignition cylinder?

Have any of you guys paid to have your ignition cylinder replaced? I think one of the wires for the VATS is broken and the cylinder needs replaced to fix it or I can do the VATS BY-PASS. I am curious as to what an average cost for replacement of the cylinder is. My cost for a new cylinder from GM is only $50.00 and two new keys is another $36.00; so right there I am at $86.00 in parts...anyone know the labor time, customer pay labor time of course? If it's only a couple hours labor it may be worth it to keep the VATS working.
