Question 98mm ftp lid

ive inadvertantly installed the ait sensor in flat part of the lid...will this affect the hp & tq numbers...also will this be ok...

i did the same thing on mine before my H/C/I install and it worked just fine for me, i later upgraded to the ZO6 85mm MAF and used the IAC off the MAF for better readings

Might cost a little bit more but if you're getting your car tuned soon this is the way to go. My ws6 had the 98mm lid with an 85mm MAF from a Silverado and it had the built in IAC sensor in it that gave it a clean look, and with the MAF turned sideways and the wires hidden it look like you're running a speed density tune. Mine was solely a cosmetic issue for me but if it nets better readings that's a plus too!
