Another high idle thread...
I have fixed several vacuum leaks, and the vehicle still idles high. It's my 2000 Trans am. I've installed my FAST 90mm intake, 92mm ebay tb, and the pcm is tuned by frost. It didn't idle high before I did these things.. (I don't think). I've been thinking that it's tune related but I don't know. Unplugging the IAC does nothing and there are no vacuum leaks.

Do you have something to read the pcm and look at the maf? If so, do the counts track the idle? Have you made sure the maf is in the right way? If not and you have a smartphone elm327 and torqueplus for $25 total is a really good investment. Also will your heater/ac blow out the dash and defrosters?
Are you saying this happens with iac unplugged? If so its a vacuum leak or a sensor imo. Vacuum leak could include having the blade open too far with the adjustment screw, if any. You might see that in the tps signal. Gl.

I actually do have torqueplus but I lost my elm27. The maf is in the right way. I've checked the tps signal and it seems to be okay. I didn't know that I could track IAC counts on torqueplus? how do you do that?
