Default SLP Headers to Kooks swap

I can not tell you how much better of a fit the Kooks headers were vs. SLP's Tuned length headers. I wanted the Kooks headers from the start but found a great deal on the SLP's. Moral of the story is spend your money where it counts.

The Kooks headers went in flawlessly and tuck up as high as when I had stock exhaust. I found a really dated thread on here about someone picking up 10 h.p. from doing the same swap.

Car heading to shop.

Ground clearance pictures of SLP are at stock ride height

Nice... I have SLP's too and i'm lowered but don't seem to be that low compared to yours. But I some day want to make this swap and not have to worry about every friggin little speed bump.

OT: What kind of trailer is that and how was it getting the car on/off with the lower springs (much less open the door getting in/out with the wheel fender there). Thanks.

I wouldn't be too bothered if you can get a good deal on them, mine have served me well for a few years.

Just have to take it slow over speed bumps. Incidentally I haven't scraped them since putting my konis in apart from one incident going too fast over the crest of a hill & the only reason I want to swap them is because I want to lower the car, other than that they're good headers.
