Default Adding a Dynomax bullet??

I have cam, ported heads, longtubes, 3in y pipe no cats, and 4in mufflex with a Borla xr-1. Its pretty loud. Would adding a dynomax 4in bullet before the rearend help a decent amount? Thanks

It would quiet it down so yes it would help.

It will quiet it, but I'm not sure as to what degree.

I have a similar setup to you and I'm looking to considerably quiet mine down. I've decided that I'm going to ditch the bullet muffler idea and put in something quieter just before the tips in the stock location.... Most likely go with a full size Magnaflow.

The bullet will not quieten the car down. It's a race muffler with little resistance.

I have LT's, ORY, and Magnaflow catback. I added a bullet to the ypipe in an attempt to help with rasp. It helped some, and I noticed no difference in loudness. Like RENE'S RAGE said, its a race muffler. You can put a stick through it.

My friends 69 camaro ly6 s480 has a 4 inch by 12 inch dynomax bulet and its the best exhaust I've ever heard. The tone is deep, but its still loud. Idle is quite a bit quieter, anything off ide is loud. Cleans up the sound more than anything.
