Default Remote coil relocation

Ok why is it that I don't see many folks running them ?
Is it due to putting them on the firewall or fenderwell ?
Or something I have not read over the past year before I purchase my L-33 ?
Personally I prefer the cleaner look of the coils not mounted on the valve covers.
However if there is a legit reason for everyone staying with that mode of operation please say so.

Sorry for the FNG question....

Thanks,
Stu

Plenty running them. A search will help. I located mine at the engine mounts.

Yep, all to familiar with the "search" function from my days over on Team Chevelle, StevesNovaSite, Snipershide and what not.
"Remote coil relocation" & "coil relocation" pulls up nothing helpfull in the "search" engine, thats why I posted the question.

Any pictures of yours available ?

Thanks

Went with D585 truck coils and made a bracket that hangs from the engine mount bolt.

Since these pics, I've shortened the wires and moved the bracket up for better wire clearance to my k-member (UMI).

Very nice, I like the "thinking outside the box" attack.
Looks like a smart way to hide them also.

Thank you

It's on my to-do list, but I simply haven't made it a priority.

Hey Brent, I like!
Can you use the stock wires, or do they have to be longer?
