Removing power steering pump..truck bracket ????

Default Removing power steering pump..truck bracket ????

2 of the bolts r completely loose.... 1is hitting pully !!! Do i have to remove the pully ??

you need to pull the bracket out and back the bolts out at the same time so that you can turn the bolts out of the head. Basically you slide the pump bracket out along the bolts as you unscrew them. It's a PITA.

I did that I got the bolt out as far as it will go...it won't turn anymore.. I can hardly get the wrench o. it now

why not remove the pulley? your new pump will probably need it swapped over anyway.
