3 inch dual exhuast problems
3 inch dual exhuast problems just put a set of jet hot headers on the car and i am looking to see if anyone has done a true dual set up on a 01 camaro and has any advice as to if 3 inch pipe will fit over the driver side axle with the panhard rod relo kit from bmr or if you just unbolt the rod and put the piping through will you be able to bolt it back up? any suggestions or results would be greatly appreciated.
I've heard that it is possible to do a 3" pipe over the driver's side axle, but it will require relocation of the PHR, relocation of the brake lines, and relocation of that electronic pass-thru thing in the floor of the cab.
BMR makes a new upper panhard support that relocates it and the panhard rod lower and allows for 2 3" pipes to go over the passengers side. I personally do not see any point in having 3" exhaust (I have 2.5" out the back and it works like a champ) other than you want it louder.
