Yes, we can do that. Use the coupon code JULY13TRUCK for the truck tensioner.

What about KAT-A4424-ARE. For guys not needing the pulley. Or is this pulley different. I'm running a gzmotorsport vacuum pump that uses a special pulley.

Thanks Jason! I'm ordered. I'm also down for fuel rails/valve covers/coil relocation if you want to GP them also. LOL. Side note where can I buy replacement bolts for the tensioner? I hate putting new parts on with old rusted bolts.

Not to dis Jason (nor his most excellent company), as I believe in their products since I already have one of their tensioners on mine, but a while back someone was posting up a tensioner which they thought/claimed was stronger, and/or more durable than the Katech.

Anybody remember/know what that was, so we could compare them side by side?

Even if it was stronger, this one is 25% off and maybe .001% on the forum have enough power to break one of these anyways. But, the only other one I've seen like this one is the Comp Cams tensioner.

Why the hell would you post this here?
Go make your own thread separate from this topic if you're really concerned.

Why the 'tough guy'/Ted Nugent defensive attitude??

Not "concern", just opening up discussion about products as that's what I thought these forums were all about.

BTW; you need not defend them to me, as if/when I have the coin, and get that C6 Z06, I would go to THEM to build the NA engine for road course use, and NOT all of the other builders which everyone uses on here for their own straight line/boosted use.

Ok, I will bite -- WHAT is the RPM range referred to? I mean this is such a non-specific claim, they should call out the range observed!

http://store.katechengines.com/bille...sioner-p2.aspx

"One of the first things that was noticed was there seemed to be a bad spot in the rpm range where the serpentine accessory belt would want to jump off of the pulley. This is the origin of our solid adjustable belt tensioner. After installing this tensioner on the race engine, the belt problem disappeared. Even though this problem was found on the race engines, it is also the same case with the standard LSx engines."

I believe it was around 6400-6600RPM.
