Exhaust issue or tune issue?
Exhaust issue or tune issue? Problem: my car(98 z28 m6) seems like a dog. It runs good as I am coming from an LT1 but it should be faster. Car hesitates for a brief second then goes. Runs out of steam around 5k.
Not sure if I should suspect the tune or the exhaust. Car has ported TB, Intake, heads, TR224 cam, Spec3, LT headers, ORY, and then it goes into a 2.5 in flowmaster. None of the bends are mandrel.
Could the exhaust be limiting the car that much? It looks like the ID of the tail pipes is 2.25. Or would it be the tune? It came with LS1 edit software...I assume the worse for the tune. It doesnt lope at all and seems like it would.
