Nick Williams Throttle Body Questions
My Nick Williams 92 TB came with a black plastic fitting that screws into the passenger side of the TB (I forgot what this is used for). Although this fitting is plastic, I would like to replace it with a metal fitting if possible. It seams a shame for such a nicely made throttle body to be topped off with a piece of plastic
Do any of you know what size fitting this is?
While I am at it, I wanted to paint the TPS and IAC fitting with gloss black or red. Would I need high temp paint for this? I have the VHT 550 degree stuff but am wondering if this is overkill.
Thanks, Q

FYI,
The throttle body fresh air fitting for the NW 92 TB is indeed a 1/8" thread. However, it is a 1/8" tapered thread which means a standard 1/8" -6AN fitting will not screw down but 1/8 of an inch or so. For reference, the part number ordered was 555-100102 from JEGS. This could be made to work work without much trouble which is no big deal
Cheers!

I think they are now that you mention it. It looks like the Jegs fitting is not tapered enough
The fittings are cheap enough that I might order another brand and see what happens.
