Default header install????

how hard is it to put headers on a 2000 z28? or anyone know a thread on this?

This is the one I had read many times before doing mine over the weekend. It does a good job of giving an idea of what you will be getting into. One thing I will say is, all the prep steps may not be required. Example 1, doing mine, I didn't have to do the coil packs, lid and filter assembly, the belt, alternator or AC pump. Only thing that had to be removed was the starter and steering linkage for the headers to slide in.

that write up mentioned above is very helpful. couple tips:
-for the love of god do your poly mounts when you have the manifolds off. (had to take my headers back off and install poly mounts cuz my headers rattled against the floorboard with the stock mounts)
-take the coil packs off (only 5 bolts which come off super quick with an air wrench and gives you alot more room to work with)
-if you can get access to a lift, your life will be a thousand times easier. they slide in super easy from the bottom
