Default Torquer v2 Cam looking for more power, ideas and gains

I just got my 99 Trans am Firehawk tuned at beyond redline and dyno numbers were 392rwhp and 365 torque. I am thinking about going to Fast 102mm manifold and nick williams throttle body and 100mm maf. Any ideas on how much I would gain from this setup? My mods are Torquer v2 cam, BBK 85mm manifold with 85mm throttle body. 243 ported heads. bbk longtube headers with off road y-pipe. volant cai. Magnaflow exhaust. Any input would be nice or someone running the FAST setup.

Probably around 10rwhp, maybe more maybe less depending on where your car made peak HP at.

Going to be an expensive upgrade for the gains though.

I am in the same boat as you. I am doing the VR ported Fast 92 > the 102 because it requires wayy less parts.

My FAST 102 required a take-off LS2 fuel rail. That was it.

Then you just get LS2-style (EV6) injectors from FIC and it comes with the correct adapters (which are no more expensive that EV1 injectors).

LS2 waterpump is optional if you run a 102mm TB and you don't want to grind your stock, old *** WP.

YEah I am also thinking about doing the 92mm fast. Did you do yours and what type of results did you see? Was it worth it to you? Thanks

Not really. All you need is an LS2 rail and the spacer kit from cbm. I'm running the LS1 injectors too. The Ls1 rail wasn't difficult to sell to recoup some cash. The FAST 102 is a superior intake to the 92mm

Id spend the money on heads instead of fast intake.

Look into WCCH, TEA LS6 heads..

You could look at 1-7/8" headers and 3" Y or duals for some more power too.

That's actually some good advice. You could take a completely stock LS engine, slap in a Pro-charger and be at the same power level as a HCI car. I wish I knew that from the get go. I saw a stock LS3 on tv the other day with a SLP SC, 480 to the tires on a stock engine. I think its by far more economical when you consider the consumables that go along with a Head and Cam swap.
