Catch can What exactly does a catchcan do other than catch oil from the PCV? 
I need to find a fix for my problem soon. It blows out a puff of white smoke when letting off the gas at high RPM's, but has done it all across the RPM range. Could a catch can fix this?

A catch can will separate oil from your PCV line and collect it. My old GReddy can does a great job. When you empty it the first time, you will be amazed by the nasty **** that's in it - stuff that normally makes it into your intake.
