Ls7 > 2002 z06? Long time no see. 
Right now, today, what is the best wiring solution to drop an LS7 into a LS6 and retain the OEM ECM?
I just hydrolocked #8, and the engine had a lot of abuse, so I just want to drop a LS7 GM crate into it.
If this is the wrong area, please advise.

buying a stock crate ls7 isnt the most economical thing you can do but if you want a warranty and a stock sounding engine then its a good option. you would need
lingenfelter 24x to 58x crank converter box $300
Knock sensor extension harness (~45)
Map sensor extension harness(~45)
Cam sensor extension harness(~45)
Injector adapters(~60)
Idk if the prices are right on but they should put you in the ballpark. that should get the ls7 running in the car then you would need to have an ls7 flashed into the pcm

oh and also you will a dry sump conversion kit. you can use your oil pan but you will need an ls3 windage tray, front cover, oil pump, and the appropriate balancer for your car. you may be able to use the ls6 one but im not 100% sure the block will also have to be drilled for the oil dipstick
