Car Wont Start Ok so i went out today to move my 1998 Camaro today so i could start to install my new exhaust and i started it and it died like 10 seconds later. When i turned it on it fired right up like usual and then it just shut off like someone flipped a switch. I tried to restart it and it just cranks and cranks but doesnt try to start or sputter. Also there is no DTC's just a AC compressor high voltage. I dont know if that DTC would cause this so thats why im asking u guys. It also ran just fine when i parked it there two week ago. Now i haven't tried to trouble shoot this yet im just looking for likely areas to check. Also i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to check for spark without shocking myself lol. So lets hear those opinions.

That sounds like an out of gas condition. Do you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the ignition on? If you don't have a tester, an old spark plug and a ground wire will work for checking spark.

Thanks for the response the gas gauge said it was low and i did hear the pump prime. I also checked the fuel preasure in the rails and it had enough pressure to spray gas out. Is there any way to check if theres gas in the tank without pulling the tank because im in the middle of doing full exhaust at the moment.
