Default ORY vs Stock Borla exhaust setup ( The difference ) ?

I've been trying to look for a detailed explanation as to what the main difference will be, if I go ahead and have an ORY put on vs just leaving what I already have on my exhaust, which is ( the Borla catback exhaust setup )? I hknow that with an ORY, that tere will no longer be Cats on there, but I guess, my question is, Why do i need to purchase an ORY , if they could just cut the Cats off of my current exhaust and run piping from the headers to the muffler ? I ordered BBK LT headers and the ORY last week, and before I pay to have them installed ( ORY ), I'm just wondering what the " main " difference iss between the two. If any one has a picture, that'd be great. Thanks for the help everyone - Mike

this the one I have on minz..if your muffler shop runs their piping it might be cheaper...of course they will be running it from your bbk headers..the ory you ordered is a direct fit probably bolt on ready to go as oppose to the shop fabricating the ory pipe..if that makes sense my Spanish is horrible sometimes. i'm sure if i'm wrong I will be corrected..they both will have no cats and work the same...imo

if you're putting longtube headers on, you need an aftermarket or custom Y-pipe because your stock Y-pipe bolts up to the manifolds/cats at a different location than longtube headers...also the longtube headers & ORY will most likely be all 3 inch piping from the header collectors, where the stock exhaust is only 2.25" to 2.5" I think....your Borla catback will be 3", so you will just need a coupler between the Y-pipe and the catback to make everything fit...you will notice a major sound difference, hope you don't mind rasp...also you'll gain about 15-25rwhp...a tune will help
