5.3L nova swap Im doing 5.3L swap in my 1974 nova. I need to know what oil pan will fit besides buying $400 oil pan from summit racing. Is there any other oil pan out there that will fit and willnt be to low to the ground?
GM makes a muscle car oil pan for LS in older GM cars.

The muscle car pan is the lh8 pan.
Ive got it in my nova using the brp kit and it hangs down an inch below the crossmember, imnot too excited about it.
I had a holley pan for it cuz i was gonna go with a different kit at first and it is definetely the way to go and a shame brp didnt use it instead.
Ifound the holley pan for like $50 cheaper than anyone else when i bought mine, i believe it was northernautoparts.com.
