Default FlowMaster SS Crossflow 842583

I had my FlowMaster Stainless crossflow pn842583 installed at Diablo Formula Racing Leola Pa today. The car sounds fantastic, they did a great job fitting it in and getting everything welded up. It sounds like a REAL muscle car should now.

Nothing sounds like a Flowmaster! Car runs so much better now too.

I've had a few, and the old lady has one on her SUV and I get tons of compliments. I like em, even if they aren't the best flowing design.

No doubt about it ... FM catback sounds great on LS1's, even though I hate how they sound on vintage muscle.

While their performance with regards to their crossflow design has been debated on this site since the dawn of time, they do sound good. My car had one welded to the stock catback from the previous owner, but I've been too cheap to replace it yet. It sounds good with LT's and ORY, IMO.

This is the stock exhaust with the muffler welded in. The car has more power over the entire rpm range and pulls real nice down low. The stock WS6 muffler is a joke, its that restrictive.

I've also tried the Magnaflow and UltraFlow mufflers, they both performed very well but sound like azz unless you are at WOT then they both shine. I really liked the Ultraflow from Dyno max at WOT. It would be a good muffler for a modded car without cats. Its quiet at idle and cruising.
