Default dipstick bolt

I need the size and pitch of the dipstick bolt on the LS6. I found a thread that said it was M10x1.5x25 but the M10 is too big for the header flange, I am running Stainless works 1&3/4. Anyone have any idea what would fit... maybe an allen/torques, basically anything that will fit withough having to unisntall the headers and grind the flange down. Thanks

You grind the bolt head collar, not the header flange.

The bolt I tried didnt have a collar and didnt fit, I was going to buy it grind down but I wanted to see if there were any other alternatives first. Maybe the SW header flanges cover more area than some others or something.

The bolt that holds the torque converter on fits. The little short, fat, stubby bolt. It threads right in and does not protrude or bottom out. Try one out, thats what I'm using!
