Default typhoon vs ls6 intake

I have a guy wanting to swap me a 96mm intake and 96mm tb for my ls6 intake and pp tb, look for any info/input anyone can give me. I've searched and searched and no good/solid info, thanks for any info.

there IS a difference between an actual typhoon and the EBAY 96mm intake, otherwise the actual Professional products intake has a couple threads showing slight gains over the ls6

The ls6 is better and has been proven forever on FI cars or h/c cars. It's even tough to justify buying a fast when that money can be put towards a supercharger. The ls6 intake is just not much of a restriction.

ive seen at least 1 dyno prove otherwise on a NA bolt on car. However iirc, the typhoon is heavier and since its aluminum, heatsoak can become an issue.
