Rich after headers?

Hey guys. So I installed 1 3/4 long tubes and or/y this past weekend, and have noticed that my car smells really rich...

It has a tune that I bought from another member on here, which has EGR deleted, AIR deleted, rear 02's deleted, and is tuned for bolt ons...but it's for 1 7/8 headers, not 1 3/4 like I have. Is this normal, or is the tune screwed up..? Should I just send it to Frost?

Are you sure you don't have any leaks in the new setup? That would certainly cause it to run rich.

Bottom line, there's no replacement for a proper tune.

I think I have one near the "i" pipe.

The tune was supposedly done by Lorenz and LSX Power & Tuning. I bought it from a reputable member on here.

You're gona smell it regardless since you have no cats. Most people love the smell. Most cars will run just a little rich after headers/ory without a tune. But you say the car is tuned, so it's either a bad tune, or just the no cats smell that you may not be familiar with.

under part throttle your car WILL run at 14.7:1ish unless you have deeper problems. Thats what o2 sensors and fuel trims are for. Now WOT is another story.

Like the guys have already said, your just smelling the exhaust now
