Default Need some help

HI I have a 02 Camaro ss currant ( 3000 yank stall, full exhaust, 3:73 gears, ls6 intake, 224/224 580/580 cam.)
Well im wanting to do some up grades and want some opinions
tsp 233/239 595/603 cam
ls7 lifters
ls2 trays
fast 92 intake
fast 92 throttle body
ls6 oil pump
brian tooly 660 springs
and more then likely changing stall
Can get a pretty good deal on some of the parts
so what are your opinions on the build and power wise

I'd go with the BTR SLR lifters and also take a good look at the BTR stage 3 camshaft, and a 3600 stall.

id go with a 3600 stall IMO and make sure when you upgrade your cam its power band matches your stall with 3:73 gears id probably use at max a 4000 stall. That's pretty much what I have been reading in here and from other mechanics that build drag cars all the time. Good luck with your build.

Honestly if it were me i'd only change the cam if I was upgrading the heads. That's just me though

Well a 224 cam is pretty small so it will be a decent upgrade for him to go to the 233/239. I do agree with you though, if you're going through all the hassle might as well throw a set of heads on there too. Might not be in the budget for him though.

Yeah I know, but I personally couldn't justify it without doing some type of head work at least, and considering that i'd already have a decent after market cam. If the op had the stock cam i'd say go for it. I hear ya though, and it certainly might make sense in the op's case
