If the stocker is ported it should be to 78mm which is not that much off of 85mm. If the intake is BBK an 85mm is the max you can go. Keep the stocker thats ported unless you go with a bigger intake. Who ported your stocker? Potz Ports has an awsome pp 78mm tb with bump stop mod that really wakes up the car!

any time you can open up the inlet for air to a bigger hole than stock, it is an upgrade...

including when the vehicle is stock...

as soon as you can afford to put a bigger TB on there... do it.

This is just my opinion, but I would just port and polish the stocker unless going with a really good intake like a Fast

My opinion is you have around 40hp left on the table with the mods you have listed.

With a 383, you've choked it. Both ways.

Just from what you have listed.

The headers aren't helping your cause. A 2.5" Y pipe, a cast version of the LS6 intake, 78mm TB...

Budget version:

TSP 1 7/8"headers
TSP Y pipe or duals
Fast 92 (use your existing fuel rail)
Nick Williams 92mm TB

What's your fuel setup? Do you have a 255 pump and hotwire kit? (RACETRONIX)

Your 36's seem small to me, for a 383. But then again, you might not be using the car to their full potential yet.

I'm curious to know what your MAP reading was at WOT as well as your IDC.

What I've listed thus far is proven to make power on even a stock 346, and even more when the engine demands it.

Remember, you're working with an extra 37 cubes, and it needs to inhale and exhale as efficiently as possible.

Honestly, I don't think the BBK is worth it over the LS6, and to me the fast would only be worth it if I could sell the LS6 first while getting the Fast at a good price. If it were me i'd take the $500-$800 and throw it at a nitrous kit. That's just me though

Yea I have the walbro 255 I'm just using the headers from the bbk I'm running true duals ..

I only choose bbk in the beginning to run my n20 but now I'm thinking about switching setup to to the 92/92 with bigger injectors

I would, without question. Sell your current setup, keep your fuel rail, and get some 42# injectors at a minimum, with a Fast 92 intake and a NW or Fast 92mm TB.

That's what I was thinking moving to the 383 bbk would have been fine for the 347 but for the bigger cubes go fast 92 or even 102
