Default going w/duals..

Going w/ the lanes true duals setup.. Just wondering from the people that have them, which mufflers you chose, why you chose them, and are you happy with your choice thus far. As of right now, im going to go with the twisters... thanks in advance. -g

I went with 18'' bullets, the sound is a lot cleaner and no rasp compared to a loudmouth with longtubes, very happy with the sound

I went with Spintech Pro Shoot Out mufflers because they're relatively small and they sound amazing. Their Pro Street mufflers are the same size (4"x6"x12") but are a street muffler instead of the Shoot Outs which are a race muffler.

I just got my Lanes X-Pipe with the 12" bullets, I love the sound a lot, expecially at WOT . And the ground clearance is great!

Lane's is a local shop here in Dallas, TX. From what I hear he does great work, and used cars from around the area to test fit, and design the dual exhaust set-ups. I haven't heard complaints from his product at all. I have always wanted duals, but I would want it to exit the rear. Which cost more $$$$ than I have

Lane's also is not a sponsor. Please keep the discussion to aspects of a true dual setup. If this becomes a advertisement for Lane's, it will be locked.

i had dynomax bullets in my first (2.5") setup, and now have the twisters. I didn't really pick them, the system was already built onto Lanes Z28 so we just put in on, but I had to switch to the lakewook DS loop he had on his car for fitment purposes. I have had two true dual setups on my car and loved them both, and I can't see myself ever changing to anything else. I love the sound and the look of no tips out the back, but that is just me

I had 18" dynomax bullets on my true dual setup. I really like the sound, but after time it was just to loud for me. Since then I switched back to a hooker catback and love it. If I had it to do over again, I might just go all the way out the back.
