Default Intake/tb choice help

I am building an LS6 for my 63 mercury meteor and could use some help choosing an intake. I have searched over and over, but have not found a clear answer. This motor has:

stock 04 ls6 shortblock
prc stage 2.5 ls6 heads
228/232 ~.600 lift cam
11:1 compression
1 7/8 longtubes

I have been gathering parts piece by piece, now all I need is an intake. My question is will a stock ls6 intake/tb limit this setup? About how much would I stand to gain from a fast 102 and 90/92mm TB?

I would be happy with 425-450rwhp out of this setup, but if the ls6 intake/tb will be holding it back 15-20hp, I would rather pay the money up front and get the fast. opinions? Thanks in advance

I think you answered your own question. If you do not mind spending the money go with the fast, for the power you are wanting at the wheels I think you will need it.

Yep it would probably be a 15-20 hp difference. Now it's up to you

a ls6 intake is good up to the 450 rwhp area .a fast 92 intake will add 10 rwhp.you should run 36# injectors or bigger .

Yeah, i'm leaning towards putting the money into the fast setup. I'm new to building LS motors for power, but from all of the reading I have done, it seems like i'm right about at the point where most people ditch the ls6 and go for a fast.

I already have a set of ford red top injectors, Which I believe are 36lb at ls fuel pressure. Now I need to figure out if these injectors will work with the intake and fuel rails.

Thanks, that's about what I had figured after all of the reading I have done. I decided to stick with the ls6 after I priced everything out and it more than doubled what I have into this motor... After all, its just a cruiser, not a race car.
