Question Need advice on catalytic converters for a conversion.

I'm putting a LQ9 on a Trailblazer and can't figure out which cats to use.

It's a budget project, PCM will have stock programming just the VATS removed, and it has to pass a yearly smog test. Not as strict as CA.

Would used re-certified cats be a good option?

What would be a good aftermarket cat for this kind of project?

Thanks in advance for any advice

People tend to like these, not sure if you want to adapt it to your current exhaust tubing size.

I second that. If you want a quality high flow cat I'd get that one. If your conversion will still retain all of the emissions components you will pass a sniffer test just fine.
