Were they the race headers? Their emissions-friendly versions were 1-5/8" but new version is true 1-3/4".

I'm liking the speed engineering ones, but the pacesetter coated headers are nice too.

Will stainless change color or will it keep its looks like the ceramic coating?

Whatever you get make sure its stainless. Everything else will eventually rust. I went with the OBX longtubes, it was before these speed engineering were available. The quality is good, but I had fitment issues on the steering column. Of course an easy fix with a blowtorch and hammer. Also the slip on clamps were garbage.

Is BBK a pretty good brand?

I used them and they went on really easy. Have held up well. Its the only set I have ever installed so I cannot compare them to other brands, but I was satisfied for price.

So they are steel plated with chrome, or nickel?
