Pushing the tube inside the lid isnt the best idea IMO. And that giant bulge in the fernco doesnt look like it fits without muscle.

It is a special setup we offer so there is no link. Email or call us up and we can get you fixed up.

The biggest problem I have seen is the throat on the back hitting the shroud. some short work with a dremel will fix that.

It slides on easily. The 4" Fernco is over 5" until you tighten it down. But it has no give in it.

I'll email you guys.

hijack.

becool radiator? why didn't you just run an lt1 radiator and just plug the side hole. they flow so much better.

and also the slp was tight for me and i ran a fernco. i put the fernco in the microwave for about 30 seconds because it was so thick walled and hard to bend, then ran and slapped that baby on. but i had poly mounts and it was an extremely tight fit but eventually the heat pretty much stretched things in certain places to where i could take the lid off and on with ease. but if you can avoid the fernco, avoid it.

To further clarify that, the 98 lid should be included as the molds are identical on the lid portion.

I guess I'll just buy one and find out for myself how it fits... Apparently if it breaks they will replace it

They are okay but I don't think they flow any better than a stock LS1 radiator. I always recommend using an LT1 radiator. SLP used to sell their SLP radiators which we're a thicker core and flowed more which we're stock modified LT1 radiators. That is what I did.

I had this on a procharged camaro and it did help with the temps as you know, procharged f-body's are really bad with heat.
