#2 no fire after engine swap
#2 no fire after engine swap Long story short, swappedout my 402 supercharged to a stock 4.8. Took out programmed ecm and put stock back in. No fire at all on #2#8 cylinders. Brand new plugs and wires, swapped out all coil packs on that side and still no fire. Its so bad it can barely move. Any ideas??
Havent checked pcm but pulled each plug on coils to see which were not firing. Thats how i found out that those 2 cylinders are not firing. Thats when I changed out all the spark plugs and wires and started it again. Still the same. Than I grabbed a set of coil packs off of my 402 and switched out that whole side. Still the same.
Think I got it narrowed down to injectors. Must have plugged or bad injectors. Bought a spark plug coil tester and I had good spark. Pulled the injector wires while it was running and thats what it was.
My next suggestion was going to be to use a infrared temp gun on the primaries... But apparently you already figured that out about the injectors.
