DBW gas pedal help!

DBW gas pedal help! Ok so I have a 2006/2005 (pretty sure 06) 5.3l engine with dbw and a 2006 wiring harness from a 6.0l. I was hoping to keep the dbw throttle body and just hook up a gas pedal however I'm not sure which one to get that would work. I've read that the 2006 pedals didn't have a tac module and were wired right into the ecm. And I've also read that I can then use any pedal from a 2006. I have the 58x crank. Just looking for some clarification as to what I can use.

I'm sure someone with more experience than I will chime in. here is my .02 My ls-1 is supposedly from an 04 Tahoe it is drive by wire, as I was pricing a new one I decided to go to the local scrap yard find one, stopped at the first Chevy truck i saw don't know what year it was looked in and saw it had the little module I needed, paid the $25.00 and took it home, installed it and so far so good! I did not know that they had special applications till i got back here and read it. My question is when you by them new I think Locar even sells them, did not see a chart to match any year models etc....
