Cut-outs and the CAT-

Cut-outs and the CAT- So, Just got the engine back ... LS1 converted to 383. I bought TSP 1 7/8" Long tube headers which lead of course to 3" exit exhaust. Figuring out now what I can do to have cut outs + still have CAT(s). Need it to pass emissions and be street legal, cut outs are for the track. My worries are that if I go headers, short pipe w/ cut outs then some 3" CATs is that even possible due to clearance to the ground ... etc... can I actually reduce to get into smaller headers ... etc ...
