motor alignment problem...
motor alignment problem... So to preface I have a 97 30th anniversary rs car that originally came with a 3.8/auto that I've swapped a built lq4/t56 combo into. I've bought an LS k-member, steering gear, stock LS clamshells with prothane poly inserts, whole 9. So first of all the poly inserts made the motor a MFer to line up with the motor stands on the k-member. Fought us the whole time but I got her lined up finally. Got everything bolted in the car today and it seems like the motor is tilted towards the drivers side. My passenger side LT is damn near touching the floor board and my drivers side has a bunch of space. Granted the LTs are cheap used I bought off a user on here. The headers fit perfectly everywhere else. I know I have the wrong trans mount...used the one off the auto that was in the car...def too tall...trans is waaay too high in the tunnel. Anyone ever run in to this problem with the poly inserts before? I suppose I'll have more info after I get the correct trans mount in it...may be causing it all to bind up and torque sideways. Anyways, thanks in advance guys.

Yea sorry if I put this in the wrong place...figured the external engine forum was a good fit lol. I got the issue figured out. I had one of the inserts flipped over in the clamshell and it was binding everything up. It was the drivers side so I just pulled the alternator, took everything apart and fixed it. Took me about 30 mins. Thanks for the input guys!
