Are these Headers and ory good

These mac headers look really good to me w/ a great price but since im less experience than most of you guys will somebody look at them for me.

I have read jrp's newbie guide on what he thinks about the mac vs. lts but I would like to have some opinions please.

The HTS coating is horrible. The headers will rust quickly even with this coating. A friend of mine had them on his Z28 and the coating had brown speckles all over the primaries within the first year. The MAC's fit well but, beware of the longevity of these headers. If you were to get the ceramic coated, now you are in the LT territory.

Thanks I also found these which he says are available coated. Again I dont know but the y pipe doesnt look to good.

Also if anyone has any suggestions on where to get some good lts and y pipe for around 600 all together let me know. I can go a little higher if I need to. Im not going to use cats

The Pacesetter's seem to be a popular brand these days. The new revision for the driver side header eliminates the notching of the K-Member. I would give Texas Speed a call and see what they can put together for you. They have the newest revision too. I would go with the Pacesetter's over the MAC's. The headers and ORP will be less than $600 easy. They also updated the Y-Pipe to have better clearance too.
