Hooker AeroChamer Muffler Failure Problems Has anyone else had problems with the hooker aerochamer mufflers recently? I've gone through two of them in the last year. The internals come loose and all I hear is clanging and banging inside the muffler. I bought them through Summitracing but they only have a 90 day warranty and all have failed at about the 6 month period. It's getting pretty frustrating. I had an older one that lasted me a good 7 years or so.

This problem was commonly reported several years ago. It started after they moved production from the US to Mexico, or vice versa - I don't remember. Supposedly they went back to the original production site and the problem was fixed. Even if that's true, there are probably a lot of bad ones still on the shelf.
