HELP: E-cutout drained battery???
HELP: E-cutout drained battery??? Hey guys,
So installed my e-cutout this morning and after about 3 hours later I went to drive the car again and the battery is completely dead. (new battery as of 2 months ago) Since I do not have ASR, just the blank switch cover in the dash, I tapped into the pink wire on the harness that would have been plugged into the back of the ASR switch for my pos feed (red wire on switch). I then grounded the black wire.
Is this ok to do? This wouldnt have drained the entire battery? I thought this would have been fine as I read that all the pink wires on our cars (02 camaro ss) are switched 12v and any orange is constant 12v.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks!
