Air conditioner blows cold but not hard My AC will blow cold like normal but will not come out of vents, i have it set on MAX and it feels like its barely blowing. If im on the highway and go WOT it will start blowing a little bit, the air is cold as ice just not getting any blower pressure out of the vents. Is there a vaccumm hose on intake or something I can verify? also the switch engages the compressor and switched the modes fine, just not getting any blower pressure. please help! its getting hot
I have a similar issue. When I first start my car and turn on my ac I get plenty of air from the vents but if I drive for extended periods of time I will hardly get any air from the vents.
This is caused by my evaporator freezing over. The compressor is supposed to cycle off when the evaporator gets too cold but it doesn't and I haven't investigated as to why....it's probably because the sensor isn't attached to the evaporator.
