Default Exhaust Gas Temps

I recently picked up an laser temp gun and cause I wanted to see how hot my block was getting. Well I decided to check what the temp of my Pacesetter 1 3/4" long tubes were. I'm kinda shocked, I have about a 200*F temp difference between a few cylinders. Should I be worried? What could be the cause? Spark being blown out?

I checked the temp after driving home from work and after idling for 10 min. The engine was build by AES and put in about 6K miles ago 12lbs of boost from a D1SC. I'm going to be pulling the radiator to upgrade it. So will be down for a day or two.

I'm interested to hearing what people think and suggestions.

Where exactly are you measuring temperatures...?

The surface finish and incident angle both affect what the IR temp gun reads.

Pacesetter coated headers. I'm mesuring right off the flange about 1" from the heads. The IR temp gun I have has a laser pointer in the center.

Low temps mean either a coil isn't firing or you have a dead injector. I know this from experience...

How low we talking. I've got 260* on a few and 500*+ on others.

After about a 10 sec idle I had 130-160 on one and 330"ish" on the other 7.

The low one had a dead injector.
