o2 Sensor Thread size??

o2 Sensor Thread size??

I thought this would of been a simple question at the auto part stores, but no one could tell me the thread size of my o2 sensor on my:

2001 Trans am WS6 5.7L

The Bung is stripped so I am going to cut it out and weld in a new Bung. But I need to know the proper size of the bung so I can order one....

Can anyone help me with this?

perdy sure its 18x1.5 should of gone to a better parts store lol and a quick google would of told u cuz all o2's are the same thread

I tried googling it and it gave me a giant array or different sizes. I thought it was going to be that simple as well, but there was not one definitive answer lol. I ordered the size that you posted for 4 bucks. I will let everyone know if it does indeed fit.
